SEND A DX SPOT TO THE DXCLUSTER
The Toolbar button will appear when connected to the DXCLuster
Opens the Send Spot window
A formatted Spot will be generated from any existing QSO entered into the log, or the data can entered manually.
If a full frequency is not present in Log then this MUST be edited in the Send Spot
window, the full frequency MUST be sent to the DXCluster to benefit other Cluster users
N.B. Frequency is always sent as kHz.
SEND
Sends the spot to the DXCluster.
Once the spot is sent, confirm that it appears in the DXXluster window and close the Send Spot window.
NEW
Clear existing data.
VHF FORMAT
Populates the 'Remarks' field with a standard VHF format
"TheirGridLocator< Propagation_mode>MyGridlocator".
Example: "KM71<ES>IO82WX".
"TheirGridLocator is taken from the Log Remarks field,
"Propagation_mode" from the Logs 'Prop' Field or the current 'Prop' list.
N.B. The VHF Format button only appears if the following criteria is met:
Frequency band entered above 30Mhz
Grid Locator entered in Log Remarks field
Users Base Grid Locator is Set.
The distance (QRB) is calculated between the remote and home location and added to the VHF format.
QUERY
Send a query or other command to the DXCluster, e.g. talks, sh/dx etc. refer to DXCluster command set.
CANCEL
Cancels Send Spot and closes the Send Spot Window.
